I am this close to bringing my cape to disco roller skating on Friday.
Kill list card is supposed to be composed of people whom the DR1’s cast think of the dearest.
Everyone jokes around about Fukawa’s dearest person being a bug:
Well guess what. According to Japanese forums, if you bring Kameko(the bug’s name)’s kill card to Hiroko, Fukawa bursts into tears of relief, crying “Kamekoo! So you were safe!!” (カメ子ぉ！無事だったのねぇ！).
So that bug is indeed precious to Fukawa after all. I was laughing at first when I found out that Fukawa’s dearest was a bug. But when I read this, I was somehow touched.
Everyone’s discussing about how a bug can be the most precious when an average stinkbug can live about an year and a half, let alone tracking it.
Maybe it’s bigger than average stinkbugs? Or live longer?

“That’s part of the rule. Never quit. Never let them see you’re afraid. Above all — never let them see you’re hurt. Never let them see you cry. Never.”
Since this has no explanation and there are people like me who don’t follow the Simpsons but are huge Don Hertzfeldt fans, DON HERTZFELDT (maker of Rejected and a bunch of other great works of animation) made a couch gag for The Simpsons and it’s incredible (and should really be viewed in video form here).
